The Yorkton Terriers split a pair of Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League games on the week.

The girls' 'B' final in the Yorkton Elementary Schools Sports Association (YESSA) was played between the MC Knoll Triple Threat and the MC Knoll Smashers. They had to play a third and deciding set, which the Triple Threat won as well, 15-10.

It was cold as could be outside, but as usual, warm like a furnace inside during the 2011 YESSA boys/girls volleyball tournament held last Tuesday and Wednesday. The MC Knoll boys's team headed by Sean Coomber and Michelle Pfeifer outlasted St.

The Sacred Heart Lady Saints senior girls volleyball team concluded their 2011 season at the 4A girls regional playoffs in Oxbow recently.
