The Yorkton Terriers are hosting their annual golf tournament on Thursday, August 31 at Deer Park Golf Course in Yorkton. The tournament, which will be a modified version of a Texas Scramble, will have a shotgun start at 12:00 p.m.

The third annual Sandy Beach Disc Golf Tournament was held Saturday under near ideal conditions. The great conditions led to some fantastic shot making and a very close competition among the more than 40 participants.

For the first time in history, this year鈥檚 Team Saskatchewan captured a gold medal in baseball at the Canada Summer Games in Winnipeg. On Friday, Saskatchewan beat Manitoba 3-1 for the title.
