Last Thursday, Canadian Wrestling Elite (CWE) returned to Yorkton with an event that had the crowd cheering all night.聽
Held at Yorkdale Central School, the event (Nightmare on Elite Street) drew in one of the biggest crowds yet.聽
In the first match up,鈥滺otshot鈥� Danny Duggan and The Mercenary beat the duo of Kute Kody and Tasty Travis when Duggan pinned Travis.聽
In the second match, 鈥淭ornado鈥� Tony Kozina retained the Canadian Unified Jr. Heavyweight Title against ROH Star 鈥淭he Octopus鈥� Jonathan Gresham in a very closely contested match that ended in controversial fashion.
Third to take the ring were the ladies - ROH Star 鈥淭he Gatekeeper鈥� Kelly Klein was victorious over 鈥淭he Last Pure Athlete鈥� Jordynne Grace.
Next up, CWE Champion 鈥淲restling鈥檚 Strongest Man鈥� Tyler Colton w/NWA/WCW Icon 鈥淭he Russian Nightmare鈥� Nikita Koloff retained against 鈥淭he Crazed Cowboy鈥� Jacob Creed with an incredibly impressive deadlift powerbomb.
In the next contest, the team of The Big Chief, 鈥淜illa鈥� Kaz Karter, 鈥淭he King Of Pong鈥� Ethan Price and 鈥淭he Red Ribbon Warrior鈥� Kenji Brea were winners against CWE tag team champion Phil Atlas, Pro Wrestling NOAH鈥檚 Kaito Kiyomiya, 鈥淪econd To None鈥� Alex Anthony and The Canadian Cougar when The Big Chief hit a second rope big splash on a stacked Cougar and Anthony.
Finally, in what many are considering a major upset, CWE tag team champion Shane Sabre pinned ROH Star 鈥淭he Last Real Man鈥� Silas Young with a spear.
