The annual Charity Golf Classic for the Health Foundation was held last week with 116 participants raising $66,147.

Athletes from Canora Composite School (CCS) did well at the district track-and-field competition in Yorkton on May 23 and 24, with a number of top-ten finishes.

The Fourth Annual Fort Qu鈥橝ppelle Disc Golf Tournament was held on May 19. Local disc golfer Jack Talsma topped the field for the third straight year throwing a minus-four. Josh Istace, Moosomin, SK. was sexond shooting a plus-six.

Hundreds of school students from Yorkton, Sturgis, Saltcoats, Canora and Churchbridge took in Western Major Baseball League action Wednesday at Pioneer Park.
