Jack Talsma tops the field in Fort Qu'Appelle disc golf tournament

The Fourth Annual Fort Qu’Appelle Disc Golf Tournament was held on May 19. Local disc golfer Jack Talsma topped the field for the third straight year throwing a minus-four. Josh Istace, Moosomin, SK. was sexond shooting a plus-six.

The Fourth Annual Fort Qu’Appelle Disc Golf Tournament was held on May 19. Local disc golfer Jack Talsma topped the field for the third straight year throwing a minus-four. Josh Istace, Moosomin, SK. was sexond shooting a plus-six. with Chris Istace, Moosomin third at plus-nine, and Riley Maloney, Yorkton, SK. fourth at plus-14. With their top-two finishes Talsma and Josh Istace qualify for the PADG Farrell Agencies Champions Challenge in October. Talsma won the championship in its inaugrual year (2016). Maloney, seen in photo with an approach shot on the #3 tonal, also captured the Closest to the pin prize from Access Communication, while  Tom Krushkowski had the longest drive.  Nick Leclerc had the chance with the Fountain Tire (Yorkton) ‘Tire Toss’ but missed. Upcoming PADG tournaments include; June 23 - Kelvington Potluck Chuck,  June 24 – Living Skies Realty Open (Stockholm).
