James and Vivian Talbot were in Regina where Jim kept another medical appointment last week. A lovely Thanksgiving potluck supper was served up at the hut last Wednesday.

Laketown Leaders Seniors Club have community coffee time every Monday from 8:30 to 10:30 and have card playing Monday, Wednesday and Friday afternoons unless otherwise posted. Nina Cross spent a few days recently visiting in Weyburn.

Bredenbury Sunnyside Golf Tournament was held this past Sunday with 25 avid golfers taking part. Senior Men's Handicap: 1st Flint Taylor, 2nd Gil Bayle. Men's Handicap: Robert Taylor. Senior Ladies Handicap: 1st Muriel Nicol, 2nd Bonnie Evans.

Bredenbury Lions thank all who purchased tickets for the monthly community draw. All tickets have been sold. The next wellness clinic held in Bredenbury will be held on Wed., Oct. 2 at 1:00 p.m. in the Busy Bees.

Paul and Pearl Flaman from San Antonio, Texas were back home for a few days last week. Pearl took in the Ladies Golf Tournament at the Last Oak Golf Course.

The Bredenbury Golf Course is hosting their annual Members Tournament on Sun., Sept. 29, 2013 at 12:00 p.m. There will be roast beef served after the tournament at approximately 4:30 p.m. Everyone welcome to attend. Cost $10.00.

CALDER - Feast planned

The Calder Annual Fall Supper is planned for Sept. 29, 2013 at the Calder Community Hall. Supper starts at 4:30, doors will be opened at 4:30. Everyone is welcome to come out and enjoy a wonderful meal.
