RCMP see decrease in seatbelt violations
The RCMP Yorkton Regional Traffic Services held roadside checks over May 4th and 5th as part of the Multi Agency Seat Belt Team (MAST) initiative to improve road safety. The result was far fewer tickets than their last seat belt blitz in October.

Yorkton bustled with dancers from across the prairies on April 29th through May 2nd. The Kalyna Dance School of Yorkton hosted its 9th annual dance festival, attracting crowds that overflowed the Anne Portnuff theatre.
