Judy Talbot collects community histories of all the pioneers and families who helped unite our "Little Dubuc" and make it the caring and co-operative place it is. People who used to live here are finding their way back home on many occasions. Today I was given two C.D interviews done by John and Jenny Freed with Mrs. Evie Wilson and George Wilson (1871) pioneers of the Cotham district, and with Frank Perry and Abe Owens 1981, a former Postmaster for many years, and a WW2 veteran who brought home a Scottish war bride.

I am willing to borrow them to interest people for a limited time only as the are priceless.Little Cutarm held a worship service in the Dubuc Worship Center April 25 with worship leaders Rev. Susan Griffith and Shelly Morris. Glenna Griffith of Atwater was organist. Special music was provided by Peter Frank of Saltcoats accompanied by Sylvia. They sang "Blessed" and "He Touched Me".

Shelly Morris told the children's story about sheep while the six children gathered around her. Following the story each child was given a basket with Sunday School activities which they enjoyed during the rest of the service.

They were so nice and quiet and every Sunday they will receive a basket seeing Sunday school has closed for the term. Susan's Meditation and We like Sheep gave a good illustration how we all are similar to sheep needing a shepherd to guide us. And if one gets lost or goes astray, the Lord, our good shepherd will always find us back to the fold. As it was called "Good Shepherd Sunday" the theme of the service was about God's people being the flock of his pasture. The hymns were all appropriately chosen for the theme.

The church bulletin contained a picture and verse reading "God promises a safe landing, not a calm passage". Dubuc was pleased to once again see such a big congregation in their little church. All four congregations were represented and guests Art and Marie Lambie of Yorkton were given a warm welcome. After church everyone gathered at the Hut for food and fellowship. The next service is May 23 will be held at Atwater.
