The top female and male shooters in the Knights of Columbus basketball free throw competition in Canora were recognized on March 2 at the Canora Composite School and on March 4 at the Canora Junior Elementary School.

The Canora-Pelly constituency office opened last week at 105 Main Street (former bingo hall) in Canora and promises to be a busy place leading up to the province鈥檚 28 th general election on April 4.

On March 9, the Canora Chamber of Commerce turned over the last of its financial resources to the Canora Economic Development Commission for a business beautification project. The chamber decided to fold last fall.

鈥淚鈥檓 back!鈥� Having been involved in floral shops for 35 years, Kevin Hryhoriw says its bigger news that he鈥檚 back in town than the name of his new business.
