Pink Shirt Day was marked on March 1 at Legacy Park Elementary School, and was capped with an assembly for the entire school, featuring SaskExpress. The stage musical was a story of an AI robot that could write hit songs, and the girls performed a number of current Top 40 hits as input for the robot.

Eight teams will be entered in the competition. Estevan will have its annual pink game against the Weyburn Comprehensive School Eagles on March 3, starting at 6 p.m.
