A couple of teams from the Saskota Baseball League posted runner-up finishes at provincial senior baseball tournaments this month.

Powerlifter Marnel Spencer of Weyburn brought an armful of medals home from the North American Powerlifting Championships.

Pitcher Jorde Chartrand of Weyburn and the 麻豆传媒AVeast Carnduff Steelers are back-to-back Canadian National women's softball champions, and Jorde was awarded two MVP awards.

The club meets Tuesday and Thursday nights from 6:30-9:30 p.m., and Thursday morning from 9-11 a.m. at the tennis courts at the Estevan Leisure Centre. Lines have been painted to accommodate the sport.
