Preparing Heritage Village for Wheat Festival

Soo Line Museum to host the 'Scotty' T.rex exhibit

Watch out Weyburn, a T.rex is coming to town! "Scotty" the T.rex will be on display at the Soo Line Historical Museum from Aug. 10 to Nov. 30, as part of the Royal Saskatchewan Museum travelling exhibits.

The Soo Line Historical Museum will be hosting a large exhibit over the next few months. Scotty the T-rex will be at the Museum from August 10 to November 30 care of the Royal Saskatchewan Museum (RSM).

Backpacks In Motion

Weyburn In Motion is currently participating in a pilot project called "Backpacks In Motion." The backpacks are full of games meant to inspire physical activity including Frisbees, horse shoe sets, badminton racquets and much more.

Four-way stop approved for 16th Street and 1st Ave in Weyburn

A new four-way stop will be placed at the intersection of 16th Street NE and First Avenue NE to help control traffic in that area. City councillors addressed concerns in regards to the new signage during their monthly meeting on July 19.

The Weyburn Agricultural Society held their 102nd annual Fair and Exhibition on July 5, 6 and 7, hosting several 4-H competitions, the Midway, pony and chariot races, a petting zoo, several exhibits and a talent contest.
