Manor held its 34th annual Manor Fun Daze on Saturday July 20 and the standout event of the day was the bull riding.

Residents take a dip in the pool at the Weyburn Leisure Centre on Wednesday afternoon, during a free swim. Free swims are open to the public from 1:15 to 5 p.m. every Monday, Wednesday and Friday and children and youth get in free.

The Cenovus float winds its way through Weyburn's downtown on July 2 surrounded by staff members giving candy to children. Cenovus' float was not only one of the most elaborate and colorful, it also had moving parts.

Local country music sweetheart Lexie Tytlandsvik, of the Radville area, recently won a competition that will garner her two studio recordings, touring and radio play.

A special High School Alumni Choir is being formed for Weyburn's centennial. Everyone and anyone who ever sang in a choir at the Weyburn Collegiate Institute (WCI) or Weyburn Comprehensive School (WCS) are invited to be part of an Alumni Mass Choir.
