Gateway Festival takes place on the fourth weekend of July every summer in beautiful Bengough, Saskatchewan.

Weyburn's De Tricky Feet Dance Studio held their first dance competition, the DeFeet Dance Challenge, from Friday evening to Sunday afternoon at the Cugnet Centre, with dancers coming from eight other studios to join the Weyburn dancers. There were adjudicated dances in various categories, and on Sunday afternoon there was a dance-off with cash prizes, with the top group routines competing in each age division.

Young people learned pottery to create something they could take home.

Singer Brayden King played an hour-long concert for the students of his alma mater, the Weyburn Comprehensive School, on Friday.

ASSINIBOIA - The annual Assiniboia and District Music Festival held its 89th festival from March 22 – 25. The sessions were held at the Assiniboia Alliance Church as they have been for many years.
