Harvest in area looking good, going well in 2011
It's harvest time. This year's harvest has been going well, due to warm weather and low moisture, said Lisa Britz, agrologist for Viterra in Humboldt. "So far things here have been going fairly smoothly," said Britz.

Cooking fire contained
A cooking fire was quickly extinguished by North Battleford Fire and Emergency Services Sept. 6. The incident happened around 5:36 p.m. on the 1800 block of 91st Street. Three personnel were on the scene responding to a barbecue on fire.
