For the first time in its 34-year history, a member of Battlefords Toastmasters has been elected as division governor.

Thieves have hit a Paynton resident twice since Aug. 11 Maidstone RCMP say they were notified Aug 11 of the theft of a six-inch drilling auger from a yard in the village.

Three businesses located on Thatcher Avenue and one on the 2700 block of 99th Street were victims of break and enters Sept. 20. All businesses victimized by the early morning break ins sustained damage and property was stolen.
