NORTH BATTLEFORD - One of the two individuals charged in the Jan. 3 apartment fire on 102nd Street has seen her matters in North Battleford provincial court adjourned once again, to Feb. 1.
The defence had been seeking a release with electronic monitoring for Naomi Jean Yellowtail, one of two accused of arson with disregard for human life in connection to the fire. In her latest court date Wednesday in provincial court, her lawyer Andrew Lyster requested and was granted a further adjournment for a further update to the bail verification report, to confirm the installation of a SaskTel landline to her proposed place of residence.
Yellowtail was not present in court Wednesday. Her co-accused, Keeanu Crookedneck, is due to appear Jan.27 in North Battleford provincial court on charges of arson and arson with disregard for human life. Both remain in custody.
