This week at Maidstone High School has been a busy one. It is the last week of our magazine campaign and there have been a ton of sales. Yearbook is starting up this week with many joining this year.

A beautiful fall wedding took pace Oct. 8 at St. Paul's United Church in Estevan when Daryl Donovan of Waseca and Meghan Betnar of Estevan were united in marriage.

Cheer team sets sights on provincials

The staff and students are busy with many extra curricular activities this fall at John Paul II. It is amazing how much time the staff puts into extra curricular activities for the students. This year, John Paul II formed their first ever Cheer Team.

Raccoons a common sight

Raccoons are becoming a common sight in this area and, although they are "cute" animals, they can become a nuisance, as they like to eat cat and dog food and make their homes in granaries and unused buildings.
