Lil McMillan was to Edmonton for an eye appointment and things are doing well. Colleen Koski was to Lloydminster to visit her mom last week. May was so busy with activities she hardly had time to visit. We're glad you are enjoying your home, May.

Recreation board distributes grants

The first meeting of the RM of Glenside Recreation Board in 2012 was held at the home of Joan Rayner March 27. Almost all board members were present from the three districts. Donations were finalized and the cheques written out.

Open spiel draws 16 teams

Spring seems to have finally sprung with the farmers getting on the land. Calving season is nearly done for another year and the cattle will soon be heading to the pastures.

Silent auction supports museum

All good things must come to an end and so it goes with the beautiful spring weather. On Sunday morning we woke to the familiar sight of snow. Even the birds seemed confused by the quick turnaround in the weather.
