‘It’s part of who I am’

The City of North Battleford Historic Archives would like to create a record of all the corner grocery stores in the city for the past 110 years.

Optical, a solo exhibition now on at the Chapel Gallery in North Battleford, could be seen as a juxtaposition of the deliberate and random thought processes of artist Patricia Shiplett.

Seventh-Day Adventist Church was the place to be Sunday afternoon for their second annual Family Fun Day. The event featured free snow cones and popcorn, puppet shows, a rock wall, inflatable slide and many other activities for children.

Grade 7 students from Light of Christ Catholic Schools in North Battleford took part in the Skills Canada Cardboard Boat Race June 2.

The elementary track and field meet was held at H. Hardcastle School May 21. Winners of the medals and runners up are as follows. Six-year-old boys — Bram Jullion, three points and Kobi Weber, 21 points.
