Saskatoon police release name of Thursday's homicide victim

Police say the suspect and victim were known to each other.

SASKATOON – Update: Saskatoon police say the victim of the homicide on Thursday was 63-year-old Tanice Roberts-Knorr. Her next of kin have been notified. Roberts-Knorr is the city's seventh homicide victim this year. 

Original story: A 63-year-old woman was found deceased Thursday and Saskatoon police have arrested a 62-year-old man has been arrested.

At about 4:59 p.m. July 20, officers were called to a home in the 800 block of 10th Street East. When they arrived they found the woman deceased.

RCMP helped Saskatoon police arrest the man in Mistusinne.

Police say the suspect and victim were known to each other.

Saskatoon police Major Crime and Forensic Identification members are currently investigating.
