The Town of Preeceville made its council, board and committee appointments during a meeting of town council on November 23. Following are the appointments according to Shirley Jackson, administrator.

The Sturgis, Preeceville and Endeavour Family Resource Centre celebrated its 20th year of challenges and success on November 22 and 23.

Cary Franklin, a Preeceville School teacher, took up the challenge in promoting and raising awareness of men's health issues such as prostate cancer, testicular cancer and men's suicide. Franklin drew moustaches on students for a small denomination.
