Hockey players and coaches were acknowledged for their dedication and hard work over the course of the hockey season during the Preeceville Pats hockey windup held at the Sturgis Community Hall on March 31.

Eric Prestie of the Preeceville Harvard 606 Air Cadet squadron was selected as聽the Cadet Coach for Team Saskatchewan at the 2019 Cadet Biathlon Nationals in Brookvale, Prince Edward Island from March 3 to 10.

The Preeceville Pats midget hockey team is currently battling the Moosomin Rangers in the run for the A banner. In each of the first two games, the road team came out on top.

Elsie Myhran, a resident at the Preeceville Personal Care Home celebrated her 100th birthday surrounded by family and friends on March 13. Willie Jakubowski and company provided musical entertainment followed by a lunch and cake with ice cream.
