SASKATOON - Saskatoon Police patrol and traffic officers are currently at the scene of a three-vehicle collision with injuries near Boychuk Drive and Briarwood Road.
Traffic in the area will be restricted for the next few hours while officers investigate. Motorists are advised to avoid the area.
Just after 8 p.m. on Sunday, police attended to a three vehicle collision on Boychuk Drive, south of 8th St. E.
Information was received that a white SUV had been travelling at a high rate of speed and had collided with other vehicles, causing injuries to several people.
At this time injuries are not believed to be extreme. Three people, including the driver of the SUV, have been taken to hospital.
Alcohol is believed to be a contributing factor in the collision. The incident remains under investigation.
