( see Photo Gallery below ) The Preeceville and District Mushers Rendezvous kicked off on February 3 with a talent show at the Preeceville Legion Hall where 15 artists and dancers were featured. Rhonda Cook and Brittnay Halkyard were the emcees.

Kamsack and Canora air cadets joined together in Kamsack on January 28 for an exercise in rockets. Wade Stachura, a second lieutenant with the Canora squadron who is its training officer, led the exercise at the Kamsack Comprehensive Institute.

The Preeceville Grade 10 students visited the Preeceville Branch of the Parkland Regional Library on January 20 to sign up for library cards and to learn how to successfully utilize its services.
