MOOSE JAW — The City of Moose Jaw is advising that Phase 9 of the infrastructure renewal program is in the final few days of construction.

Grace Street from Hawthorne Crescent to Thatcher Drive: Concrete work is complete and paving is anticipated to be completed the week of Oct. 21, weather permitting.

The city continues to remind residents in Zone 2 who are affected by construction on Hawthorne Crescent, Corman Crescent, Pascoe Drive West, and Princess Crescent backing onto Thatcher Drive, that collection has moved to front street pick up for the duration of this project.

Transit service is affected and two stops are closed during construction:

  • Transit route No. 3 Athabasca West/Thatcher Drive will go to Grace Street, servicing the stops at Grace Street & 13th Avenue Northwest and Grace Street & Prince Charles Place
  • The route will continue to Gordon Road and 13th Avenue Northwest onto Princess Crescent proceeding to 13th Avenue Northwest where it will return to the usual route.

The City of Moose Jaw reminds residents that all area businesses remain open during construction and access will be available via sidewalks and temporary walkways. Also, all work in these locations is dependent on favourable weather conditions.

Drivers are reminded to obey all temporary traffic signage and exercise caution in construction zones to keep everyone safe — Nn more #NotoriouslyClose calls.

The city will continue to issue weekly updates as the program progresses. For a full list of the 2024 water main replacement locations, along with full details on the program, visit .
