麻豆传媒AVeast College introduces their new executive director of innovation and applied research for the Centre of Sustainable Innovation.

The Weyburn Therapeutic Animal Park held their season opening day on Sunday, with pony rides, a barbecue and face-painting, along with carnival games and visits to the animals. The Houligan Acres farm provided a horse and a pony for rides, and many young families were on hand to see the animals and enjoy the sunny weather.

Athletes from throughout the southeast area converged on the Weyburn Comp School鈥檚 track field for the 麻豆传媒AVeast District track meet.

A petting zoo and fundraiser hot dog sale was held at the Weyburn Pet Valu store on Saturday, with funds raised for the Weyburn Humane Society from the hot dogs, and by a group of girls from St. Michael School who sold baking and lemonade. Houligan Acres farm provided animals for the petting zoo.

Airbourne Gymnastics just competed in their final competition of the season and their first out of province competition ever.

As the week progresses, producers will be working to finish up seeding, and moving remaining cattle to pasture.

The Weyburn Golf Club will be raffling off a golf cart, supplied by E. Bourassa and Sons, to raise funds for their irrigation project on the back nine holes.

Lyndon Linklater, a knowledge keeper from Thunderchild First Nation, spent the day Tuesday at St. Michael School, after raising a tipi and sharing traditions.
