Members of the Royal Canadian Legion branch #47 were honoured at an awards ceremony recently.

The Weyburn Comprehensive, Junior High and St. Michael's Schools competed at the 麻豆传媒AVeast District Athletic Association track and field competition in Weyburn on May 28.

Students at Assiniboia Park Elementary School raised $10,921.20 for Multiple Sclerosis (MS) research, becoming the top fundraising school in the province and forcing their principal and teachers onto the roof.

The Weyburn Beavers will offer baseball tips to young players in the Weyburn area during a pair of three-day clinics. The first will be from July 13 to 15 and the other will run from July 20 to 22. Both clinics will be at Tom Laing Park.

Several members of the Weyburn Synchro Stars competed at the MASY Challenge in Saskatoon from May 27 to 30. Haley Wiberg, Rachel Ryan and Keisha Mowchenko entered the Tier 3 figure event. Wiberg finished with a score of 52.625; Ryan had a 52.
