The Spirit Singers presented excerpts of their musical, "You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown" at the Mayor's Luncheon for the Weyburn CMHA's celebration of Mental Health Week.

De Tricky Feet dance studio of Weyburn held their end-of-season dance recital on Sunday at the Cugnet Centre, opening with 33 solos and duos, followed by 40 performances, most of them by small and large groups, but also featuring solos by graduating dancers from the program.

Marley's Dance Effex studio in Weyburn held their season-end dance recital on Saturday at the Cugnet Centre. In the morning the studio had solo and duo performances, with 60 in total, then the recital with larger groups was held in the afternoon, with 62 performances, including solos by graduating dancers.

A large crowd gathered in the CP Rail yard in Weyburn on Monday morning to watch as a steam engine, No. 2816 pulled in to the city for a long stop.

Many Weyburn and area residents dropped by the Knox Hall on Saturday for the community potluck, put on by a group of local residents, with no requirement for anyone to bring food. There was a good variety of dishes to choose from, with live music provided, a kids crafts table, and there was a draw for a care package, with bread and food available for people to take home afterward.

The two kindergarten classes at Legacy Park Elementary had close encounters with young farm animals, as teacher Jayme Payak had chicken and turkey chicks, while Jennelle Wimmer's class met a month-old calf from her farm, and got to feed him. Most of the children had never met a farm animal before.

Soccer players from throughout the province, both boys and girls of a wide range of age levels, converged on Weyburn's Credit Union Spark Centre from Friday evening to Sunday.

The Muslim community of Weyburn celebrated the end of Ramadan with an Iftar dinner on Sunday evening.

The Soo Line Boxing Club held several bouts at the Spring Break Throw Down, on Saturday evening at the Weyburn Legion Hall.

Houligan Acres, a farm located just east of Weyburn, held a weekend of family visits for hunting Easter eggs, and visiting their baby animals, with the Easter weekend already mostly booked. They have baby goats, ducks, chicks and bunnies, and offer families horse rides as well as photos with the Easter bunny.
