ESTEVAN - A second local team has qualified for a final at the Western Canada Baseball Championships being held in Estevan this weekend.
The Estevan U15 AA Brewers advanced to their championship final with an 8-7 victory over the Midwest team from Manitoba Sunday afternoon. Estevan had a 7-3 lead at one point, but Midwest clawed back to tie the game. The Brewers won the game with a walk-off base hit in the bottom of the seventh and final inning.
Estevan will play the Stettler Storm in the final at 3 p.m. at Mel Murray Cactus Park. When the two teams met in the round robin, Stettler won 10-6.

The Estevan TS&M U13 AA Brewers will play for the gold medal as well.
The Brewers advanced to the gold medal game after Manitoba's Pembina Hills knocked off B.C.'s North Langley Trappers 14-8 Sunday morning.
The Trappers were still able to qualify for the final after Saskatchewan's Maidstone Lakers lost 11-9 to Alberta's Camrose Cougars Royal in the final game of the round robin. North Langley, Maidstone and Camrose finished in a tie for second with 2-2 records, but North Langley earned second spot on the tie-breaker.
Estevan beat North Langley 11-10 in the round robin on Friday. The Brewers had the best record in the round robin at 3-1.
The final will be Sunday afternoon at Mel Murray Cactus Park at 4 p.m.

The final is also set in the U18 AA tournament.
B.C.'s Vancouver Community Mounties defeated the Estevan Aero Advertising U18 AA Brewers 8-0 in the final game of the round robin Sunday at Lynn Prime Park. With the win, Vancouver advanced to the final and will meet the Elmwood Giants.
Elmwood went 4-0 in the round robin and defeated Vancouver 9-3 on Saturday. Vancouver, meanwhile, went 2-2 in the preliminary round.
Estevan went 2-2 and saw their season come to an end in the loss to Vancouver.
The final will be at 2:30 p.m. at Lynn Prime Park.
