SCIC and SGEU reach tentative agreement
The Saskatchewan Crop Insurance Corporation (SCIC) and the Saskatchewan Government and General Employees Union (SGEU) reached a tentative agreement on June24. The current collective agreement expired September 30, 2009.

Strong attendance for Estevan Fair
The Estevan Fair proved to be an oasis among the tumult for a number of residents last week. Despite poor weather and ongoing concerns due to flooding in the area, almost 7,000 people strolled through the turnstiles during the three-day event.
