The Weyburn Wor-Kin Shop leadership team and staff are doing a good job in running the non-profit organization, with a number of important goals set each year.

Weyburn city councillor Jeff Richards will be running for the mayor’s position in the fall municipal election, after serving for two terms.

Staff at a late night convenience store reported a theft very early Thursday morning, as an individual filled a basket with items and walked out without paying.

Estevan-based artist Bethany Dittmann introduced her latest exhibition Finding Wonderland on June 14 at Woodlawn Regional Park. As part of an artist's meet and greet, she walked the park with guests, talking about her creations, explaining the techniques and sharing stories. 

The Class of 2024 celebrated their grad day with a parade on Saturday afternoon, which travelled east on Prairie Avenue and west on Bison Avenue to avoid the car show on downtown. The ceremonies were held in the morning, and the grand march followed the parade.

This year's event had lots of attractions for the public to enjoy.

The Class of 2024 was encouraged to celebrate and make memories, and to set goals to find success as they move on from the Weyburn Comp School, in the Valedictorian’s address.
