Sept. 26

Police attended to a residence in Carlyle after receiving a report that someone had been assaulted with a weapon. The victim was transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Police continue to investigate.

Members investigated a call regarding a "loud noise" originating from a residence in the area. The callers stated there was a loud, unknown noise which came from the neighbour's house. When police contacted the home owners, they were asleep and had not heard anything.

Sept. 27

A citizen on patrol in White Bear Lake Result requested police presence at a cabin when the caller suspected there may be suspicious activity taking place. Police attended and found nothing suspicious had taken place.

Police issued a ticket to a 21-year-old male driver on highway 13 near Arcola for exceeding the speed limit. The vehicle was clocked at 140 kilometres in a 100 kilometre zone.

A 14-foot aluminum canoe was reported missing from White Bear Lake Resort. The canoe is described as a "Misty River" with two blue lines running along the side.

A resident in White Bear Lake Resort reported someone had rummaged through three of his vehicles overnight.

A seat belt ticket was issued to a 18-year-old male driving on highway 9 near Carlyle.

There was a sail boat reported stolen from White Bear Lake Resort. The caller later found it on the shore.

Members attended to false alarms in Wawota and Arcola.

There was a truck stolen from White Bear Lake Resort. It was later recovered in Regina. Police continue to investigate.

A caller reported a break-and-enter to her car, which was at Kenosee Lake. According to the complainant, three windows were broken on the car, and then the suspects took off in a silver Grand Am. Patrols were made, but the vehicle was not located.

Sept. 28

An individual called police to say his Dodge Shadow was being stolen. The caller chased the vehicle down on foot. It stopped and the suspects fled. The caller feared the people could return and requested police presence. Police made patrols for the individuals, but were unable to locate the individuals. The vehicle contained stolen goods believed to have come from break-and-enters from White Bear Lake Resort. Police continue to investigate.

An individual informed police a window on her vehicle was broken by flying debris while it was parked at White Bear Education Complex. Police continue to investigate.

Police are investigating three complaints of break-and-enters to cabins at White Bear Lake Resort.

Police received a request to make a parol at the front entrance to White Bear Lake Resort as someone was reportedly laying in the ditch. Police responded but did not locate anyone. When they returned to station, they found a message saying the individual had been picked up and driven home.

Sept. 29

Police handled a 911 call from a unknown female caller who said she was being followed. The call was dropped, so police called back. At this time, the female informed the police she had panicked, and everything was all right.

Members attended to a call in the area where someone was assaulted with a weapon. When police arrived on location, no one wanted to give a report. Police continue to investigate.

Police received a 911 call as a result of a technical glitch.

A seat belt ticket was issued to a 33-year-old male on highway 13 near Carlyle.

The detachment received a request from Regina Police Service to check out a vehicle which may have been involved with a hit-and-run investigation they are working on.

There was a break-and-enter reported to a residence in the area. A window was smashed and two TVs were stolen. There were things thrown throughout the house and it appeared as though someone threw a party. Police are continuing the investigation.

An individual walking home reported she was bit by a dog. This matter is still under investigation.

Sept. 30

A concerned citizen informed police of a driver in a little green truck who had sped past a school bus with lights flashing. Police spoke with the individual who said she was not anywhere near the school at the time. Since no license plate was provided, charges could not be pursued.

Signs were reported stolen from the RM of Moose Mountain.

Members assisted a landowner while he served an eviction notice. Police were in attendance to keep the peace, as both parties were obviously upset. The notice was served without incident.

Police are investigating a report of harassing phone calls from Manor.

Police received an anonymous call that a house was being transported on highway 13 near Kisbey without any flagger trucks. Members were busy in Manor with another issue and by the time they made it to the Kisbey area, the vehicle was no longer around. The Department of Transportation was notified.

Oct. 1

Police received a call regarding a possible impaired driver west of Arcola. Members made a patrol and located a vehicle that was parked at a business with a beer bottle on the roof. The individual was standing just outside the driver door, and denied being the driver. Members informed the individual they were taking the keys to detachment where the owner could pick them up in the morning as to prevent anyone from driving while intoxicated. No charges were laid.

Someone called police to informed them an individual dressed in black was walking down the middle of the highway in the area. The caller thought the individual would be a traffic hazard. Police attended but were unable to locate the individual.

There was a single vehicle semi rollover between Forget and Kisbey. The dispatcher of the company informed police the driver was on his way to the hospital and that they would have the vehicle towed. There were no charges laid.

Police handled a 911 call from an individual in the area who wanted a person living in the house to move out. Members informed the caller to tell the individual to leave and that if there were any problems to call police. The caller was also reminded that 911 is for emergencies only.

There was a report of a gas-and-dash from a gas station in Carlyle. Patrols were made but the vehicle was not located.

Oct. 2

There was a call from a female in Carlyle who said someone was in her house using her computer. Police cleared the house and located the individual on foot, who they returned to his home. He was intoxicated and therefore did not realize he was in the wrong house.

A member on patrol in Carlyle heading south in Carlyle noted a driver who was reaching for his seat belt. Police stopped the driver, who was discovered to be prohibited from driving. The 49-year-old male was charged with failing to wear a seat belt and driving while suspended. His vehicle was also towed.

Members were called to an assault complaint. A young man was beaten and left alone. Police attended to the individual, who said he didn't know who beat him up, but wanted to go home. Police continue to investigate.

Oct. 3

A caller advised he got his truck stuck in Kenosee Lake. This file had not been updated at press time.

There was a break-and-enter reported to a residence in the area by someone who was house sitting. Members attended and spoke with the homeowners who had arrived home and did not think anyone broke in.

Police attended to a domestic dispute in the area. There were no charges.
