ESTEVAN — Two separate motor vehicle collisions occurred during the day on Dec. 19 involving road clearing/sanding vehicles and other vehicles, following a snowstorm, says Estevan Police Service in a news release.
Minor damages were sustained by all of the vehicles and there were no injuries reported.
The same day, a semi/trailer unit was reported jack-knifed at an intersection in northeast Estevan. A local trucking company was required to assist with the situation. No damage or injuries were sustained.
A motor vehicle collision occurred at an intersection in east central Estevan that left one person with minor injuries and one vehicle towed from the scene due to damages sustained.
A 31-year-old Estevan man was arrested and charged with breaching the conditions of his conditional sentence order following a curfew check during which he was not present. He was transported to EPS and lodged in cells pending a remand hearing.
Members attended to an east central Estevan residence on the report of an assault that occurred between family members. The situation was defused and the matter mediated. Further investigation is ongoing.
Members attended a central Estevan parking lot in response to a report of a woman lying on the ground. The extremely intoxicated woman was transported to EPS where she was lodged in cells until sober.
