Sept. 19

There was a complaint called into the police station regarding an intoxicated person who was refusing to leave a residence in the area. Police attended and transported the individual to a different residence.

Police are investigating reports of break-and-enters to three cabins at White Bear Lake Resort.

Members were called to assist in locating a person who was reported missing from the Carlyle area. The person was later located by family members.

Police issued a ticket to a 39-year-old female driving in Arcola for failing to stop at a stop sign.

Sept. 20

Police are investigating a break-and-enter reported at Manor School. The school was vandalized with graffiti. If anyone has any information regarding this crime, they are asked to contact police at 453-6707 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.

Members were called to deal with an intoxicated person at a residence in the area. Police attended and arrested the subject of complaint, who was lodged in cells at the detachment in Carlyle overnight.

Police were called to a residence in the Carlyle area to deal with two intoxicated males who were fighting. When police arrived, one of the males had left. The second male was transported by police to another residence.

Sept. 21

There was a complaint of vandalism to an oil site near Forget reported to police. Unknown persons drove around the oil site with a tractor and "ripped up" the lease. Police continue to investigate.

Members were called to a residence in the Carlyle area. There was a complaint that people were trying to get into a residence. While en-route, police were informed the individuals of complaint had left and therefore, police were no longer needed.

Police received a 911 call. It sounded like kids were on the other end. Police called back and spoke with the homeowner and determined everything was okay.

Carlyle RCMP issued a speeding ticket to a female near Carlyle.

Sept. 22

Carlyle RCMP members are investigating a 'gas and dash' from Carlyle.

Police received a complaint of mischief from the Carlyle area. Subjects reportedly smashed the living room window of the residence. A suspect was identified. Police continue to investigate.

Carlyle RCMP members are investigating an alleged domestic assault which occurred in the area.

There was a report of three dogs running around unattended in Carlyle. Members spoke with the dog owner who collected the dogs.

There was a motor vehicle collision with a deer near Manor. The vehicle was not drivable. There were no injuries reported.

There was a complaint of an intoxicated male from Redvers. Members attended and arrested the subject of complaint. The male was found to be in breech of conditions set forth in his probation and was subsequently charged.

Members were called to a report of an intoxicated person in the Carlyle area. Once members arrived, the subject of complaint had left. Patrols were made, but the individual was not located.

There was a complaint from the Redvers area that an elderly person was driving on the wrong side of the highway. Police are continuing the investigation into this matter.

Police received a complaint of a theft from Carlyle. The caller reported a receiver hitch was taken off the back of a truck while it was parked in the driveway. This matter is still under investigation.

Carlyle RCMP received a complaint of a possible scam. An elderly woman received a call from a male identifying himself as her grandson, but did not give his name. He had said that he had won some money in the 649 lottery, and he was going to give her "a large amount of cash" if she would send him some money to collect his winnings. The elderly woman realized it was a scam when the caller would not give his name, and then hung up the phone. Police have handed this information over to PhoneBusters.

A second elderly person received a call, which turned out to be the same scam as above. The individual alerted police. Carlyle RCMP members have let PhoneBusters know about this second call.

Sept. 24

There was a complaint that a vehicle was "tearing up the streets and driving through yards" in Manor. This matter is still under investigation.

A male was issued a ticket for failing to stop at a stop sign near Carlyle Elementary School.

Police are investigating reports of break-and-enters to 10 cabins at White Bear Lake Resort.

Sept. 25

There was a complaint of an alarm from a business in Redvers. Members attended and found that an employee had entered the wrong key number.

Police received a call that a driver was driving at high speeds on a road near Carlyle. Members could not locate the vehicle.

Members performed a vehicle stop near Manor in which the vehicle pulled to the side of the road. Members exited the vehicle, and once they did so the vehicle sped off. Members pursued the vehicle for a short distance and called it off for safety reasons. This matter is still under investigation.
