WEYBURN – Weyburn Tourism set a new location for the High Tea with Lieutenant-Governor Russ Mirasty on Saturday, June 25, due to weather conditions.
The tea will now be held at Weyburn’s Credit Union Spark Centre at the same time of 2 p.m.
The pancake breakfast, face-painting and bouncy houses which were to be set up at the Soo Line Historical Museum were cancelled, but free tours of the museum will still be available for the day.
Organizers advise those who have printed tickets for the High Tea should arrive at the Spark Centre between 1 and 1:30 p.m., and they should dress formally for this event.
There is parking available at the Spark Centre, and people arriving for the tea will be directed.
Lieutenant Governor Mirasty and his wife Donna will have a formal entrance, and everyone is to be seated for this.
This event is being held as a celebration of the Platinum Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II.
