REGINA- The warehouse district of Regina was the place to be this past weekend as it hosted the Experience Regina Block Party.
The event took place on June 18 and 19. The idea was to incorporate the previous YQR Food Truck Wars event and add a craft beer component to weekend.
More than 20 vendors were on hand, including craft beer sales as well as Food Truck Wars. The vendors set up on the west lot of Centennial Market where there was plenty of food, beer and entertainment on hand.
Including the craft beer component was a natural for the event. The Warehouse Business Improvement District is a hot spot for craft brewing in Saskatchewan, with four craft brewers located there.
Inside at the Centennial Market, CJTR Radio held its Vintage Vinyl Garage Sale both days. Sunday’s activities included a cornhole tournament, as well as a doughnut eating contest.
