ESTEVAN - Two people from Alberta are facing multiple charges after being arrested in Estevan this week.
Estevan Police Service (EPS) members apprehended a 39-year-old man and a 40-year-old woman late Thursday afternoon. The EPS says the pair were already wanted out of Alberta for several criminal offences.
Both are charged willfully obstructing a peace officer by providing a false name, possession of a stolen vehicle, possession of stolen property, and breach of a condition of an undertaking, all under the Criminal Code.
The male subject is also facing an additional charge of operating a conveyance while prohibited from doing so, under the Criminal Code.
The pair was remanded in custody and will appear in Estevan Provincial Court on Sept. 27.
