ESTEVAN - A 42-year-old woman is facing several different charges after being arrested Thursday.
Police arrested her for public mischief after she reported false information to police. She will also face charges of assaulting a police officer and committing an indecent act.
The woman is also being charged under the 911 Systems Act for placing false reports to 911 dispatch. She is alleged to have called 911 at least 11 times during the night and none of the calls were a police, fire or medical emergency.
Police arrested a 38-year-old man Thursday for impaired driving after he left a local establishment on the northeast side of the city. He provided samples of breath that were more than three times the legal limit. He was later released when sober.
Police arrested a male for public intoxication. Officers were concerned the male was going to drive and after failed attempts to find him a place to stay, he was lodged until sober.
Earlier in the week, police arrested an individual Tuesday on four outstanding warrants. Police came into contact with him when they identified him operating a vehicle in the city. He is facing a new charge of suspended driving and the vehicle he was driving was towed. He is also facing charges after resisting members during the arrest. He was released later in the evening.
