This week our Playground Leaders will be starting their weekly duties. The playground leaders are 4 grade 6 students who meet each Monday to plan fun games and activities. The leaders will be out on the division 1 playground each Tuesday and Thursday recess playing new and exciting games with the younger students. The entire grade 6 class has gone through Playground Leadership Training which was a full day learning how to be a positive leader in the school and outside on the playground.
Little Chefs is beginning this week. This program gives each class the opportunity to come to the kitchen and make themselves an individual pizza for lunch. Each class in the school will do this once a year. Notes will be coming home with your child to notify you that they will not need a lunch on that day.
We would like to welcome all parents to our SCC AGM and open house next Wednesday October 13th. The AGM meeting is at 6:00 and open house is at 7:00.
