The Gift of the Magi is a Holiday Play written by local playwright Wendy Lee Sidloski. She was inspired by the writer O. Henry.

The entries for the People鈥檚 Choice exhibition will be on display in the Weyburn Art Gallery from Jan. 5 to March 22.

Omentum has been on display since Nov. 24 and will remain until Jan. 23, 2024. It is a touring exhibit through the Organization of Saskatchewan Arts Councils.

The Spirit Singers, a nine-member singing group at Grace United Church, will have the opportunity to perform on the prestigious stage of Carnegie Hall next May.

The Weyburn Comprehensive School鈥檚 Senior Theatre Club will present 鈥淯sher: A Totally Teen Comedy,鈥漮n Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, Dec. 5, 6 and 8, at 7 p.m. each night, and then on Sunday, Dec. 10 at 2 p.m.

The cast is in dress rehearsals this week and start performing on Dec. 7. The play will also run Dec. 8 and 9. Doors open at 7 p.m. and the show starts at 7:30 p.m. at the Lampman Legion Hall.
