UC Chimes: Natural beauty

Truly the beautiful season of spring has arrived. Blue skies and twinkling stars are beautiful. Flowing rivers and green fields are beautiful. Leafy trees and budding plants are beautiful. Green grass and yellow dandelions are also beautiful.

What me worry and trusting God

Happy Father's Day

Kids' camp remains a special memory for me. Every summer for a number of years I and a group of others my age would memorize enough Scripture verses to earn a free week at Burrard Inlet Bible Camp.

UC Chimes: Truth makes you free

When I was a teenager, a high school teacher told us, "love makes you blind!" Without knowing the true meaning of it, at that time, most of our friends tried to become blind anyway. Of course I also almost became blind.

Old friends

How long has it been since you've had one of those eye-popping, jaw dropping experiences? I had one last week. "I just wanted to let you know," a friend wrote as she passed on the news that a mutual friend and role model had recently died.

Truly seeding season has arrived in Saskatchewan. Farmers and gardeners have already been busy scattering seeds in the fields and planting flowers in the gardens.

All babies are beautiful and what about us

A woman gets on a bus with her baby. The bus driver says: "That's the ugliest baby that I've ever seen." The woman goes to the rear of the bus and sits down, fuming.
