The 11th annual JAMS Family Christmas Day Dinner was a huge success this year. Jen, Ali, Mikki, Sandy (JAMS) and their friends and family put on a Christmas feast for 148 people who would otherwise have spent Christmas Day alone.

Braving the cold weather, the 5th Weyburn Scouts group is hosting a fundraiser this Saturday, January 3 at the former Sarcan location. Scouts will be on hand that day to collect empty bottles, cans and juice boxes from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.

Over the past 11 years, Sandy Johnson and her three daughters have been spreading their Christmas cheer to residents of the community without anyone to spend the holidays with. "We have donated over $10,000 back into the community," said Johnson.
