ESTEVAN - Estevan Fire Rescue Service crews responded to a vehicle versus pedestrian accident Monday morning.
The call for service came in at about 8:30 a.m. The collision occurred at the intersection of Fourth Street and Fourteenth Avenue in Estevan, and injuries were reported. Firefighters responded, assisted with traffic control and helped treat the injured individual.
“EMS did transport one individual to the hospital for further assessment evaluations. And then the scene was turned back over to Estevan city police to continue to investigate the cause of that particular collision. After that all crews returned to the station and returned to service,” said Estevan Fire Chief Dale Feser.
He added that injuries sustained as a result of the accident didn't seem to be life-threatening.
