ASSINIBOIA - Local residents are reminded of a by-election for a Councillor position for the Town of Assiniboia on Wednesday, June 8.
Voting for the by-election will be at the Prince of Wales Cultural and Recreation Centre, in the lower curling rink lounge, from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
An advance Poll was held on Wednesday June 1.
The results of the vote will be declared on Thursday, June 9 at the Town Office, located at the Asaskan Complex, at 10 a.m.
The candidates for election are (in alphabetical order): Ryan Biletski, customer service tech SaskTel; and Reneé Clermont, licensed optician. Interviews with both candidates were published in the May 27th Assiniboia Times.
