The Estevan peewee female Bulldogs were in Minot, N.D. this past weekend for the Minot Invitational Girls 12U "Ice Breaker" tournament. The Bulldogs played very well, coming up just short of winning the tournament.

ECS boys' curling team advances to regionals
The Estevan Comprehensive School boys' curling team boys were in Arcola last Monday and Tuesday at the District Championships. The ECS boys played seven games over the two-day bonspiel and came out victorious in six of them.

The Estevan Elecs senior boys' and girls' basketball teams are off to a good start in the 76th McLeod Series. With Weyburn winning the series each of the past 26 years, Estevan is hoping this is the year they put an end to that streak.

On February 15, 2011 at 1:30 pm the Estevan Police Service received a report of a bomb threat at the Estevan Comprehensive School. The Estevan Police Service is at the school and has requested assistance of Estevan Fire and Rescue.
