ESTEVAN - The opening games of the 2024 McLeod Series were held at the Estevan Comprehensive School's gymnasium on Feb. 13.
The series is an annual best-of-four showdown pitting the senior boys' and girls' basketball teams for the ECS Elecs and the Weyburn Comprehensive School Eagles. Estevan won the senior boys' game 76-71, while Weyburn took the senior girls' game 63-57.
The second half of the series will be Feb. 15 in Weyburn. The senior girls will paly at 5:30 p.m. and the senior boys' game will follow.
