ESTEVAN — The Estevan Fire Rescue Service responded to a motor vehicle collision and a fire alarm last week.
On Feb. 9 just before 10:30 a.m., fire crews were dispatched to a two-vehicle collision in the south end of the city. Firefights assisted on the scene. No entrapment or injuries were reported, said Estevan Fire Chief Drick Davies. Vehicles sustained minor damage. One was still drivable and the other one had to be towed.
On Feb. 6 around 12:30 p.m., the EFRS members were dispatched to a commercial fire alarm in the northwest area of the city. Cres responded to investigate and confirmed that there was no emergency occurring. The alarm was due to system maintenance.
