Is a war against Western Canada quietly festering in Ottawa these days? Several pieces of the puzzle are falling into place that lead one to this conclusion.

During Fire Prevention Week, three members of Assiniboia Volunteer Fire and Rescue, Casey Topola, Dave Martin, and Jasper Moneo, visited the Assiniboia 7th Avenue School to talk about fire safety on October 4.

The Saskatchewan Registered Nurses Association marked its 100th anniversary with a community celebration in Assiniboia on October 3.
