SASKATOON - Members of the Saskatoon Police Service (SPS) Serious Assault Unit are investigating a stabbing that took place over the weekend.
At approximately 3:20 p.m., April 20, police were called to the 1900 block of 20 Street West where a 14-year-old male youth reported the assault. He told officers he had been riding a transit bus when he was approached by an unknown male who attempted to rob him before stabbing him and exiting the bus. The 14 year old suffered a minor injury in the incident.
The suspect, who was with another male at the time, is described as approximately 16 years of age, wearing a dark blue sweater and black shorts with a red and white stripe.
